ABOUT THE ARTIST

Dannis Winston is fast becoming one of the most sought-after talents in the event industry. Winston is a composer, arranger, classically trained vocalist and multi-instrumentalist with close to a decades worth of professional experience in the entertainment industry. He has toured the world singing alongside legends like Dionne Warwick, Patti L'abelle, Paul Simon, Diana Krall , Aretha Franklin and his mentor jazz and pop legend Jean Carne. He has also collaborated with contemporary artists, Flo-Rida, Phyllsia Ross and Allen Stone. 

In 2012, Winston decided to focus his creative energy on the live event industry. Currently, at the age of 27; Winston has already established 8 uber-popular bands that he serves as bandleader for in the Northeast market (NYC tri-state area, DMV, PA, MA). They configure between 3-24 pieces depending on what the event calls for. Comprised of a cross-section of some of today's most talented young jazz/ pop musicians, Winston's bands have an astonishingly broad repertoire.

His bands have been featured on Good Morning America and with major event industry players like David Tutera, Preston Bailey, Marcy Blum, David Stark, Daughters of Design, Great Performances & David Beam. Notable Corporate clients and cultural institutions include: Johnson & Johnson, Toshiba, Saatchi & Saatchi ,All State, Friends on the Hudson, Showtime, NYRR, 100 Black Men of America, Baltimore Museum of Art, Arena Stage, The Patina Group & NBC.
